Enjoy a ski or snowboard lessons designed specifically for women at Northstar California. Led by female instructors and available to skiers and riders of all abilities, these lessons are a great way for women to explore the mountain while meeting like-minded people.

Back for another year, Beer & Gear is the best way to enjoy spring at Homewood with demos, discounted gear and plenty of craft beer on St. Patrick’s Day. With tons of demos to choose from, live music and plenty of local craft breweries in attendance, the day is sure to be lively.
Sugar Pine Point State Park, Tahoma, CA

Join the State Park Interpreter for an easy and fun 90 minute walk along Lake Tahoe’s magical west shore. Discover what attracted Tahoe’s earliest settlers and uncover secrets of the Hellman-Ehrman Estate in Sugar Pine Point State Park. If there is minimal snow, the hike will proceed without snowshoes.

Birthdays only come around once a year, and Diamond Peak wants to make it extra special for each and every celebrant. Diamond Peak allows all of their guests to ski for free on their birthday. For those of you with birthdays that fall outside the ski season, Diamond Peak celebrates UnBirthday Day! If your birthday falls anytime between April 16 and December 13, get a free lift ticket. Just bring your valid photo ID to the ticket window to receive your free UnBirthday ticket.

This wacky event is fun for the whole family, and for skiers and non-skiers alike! Build a dummy on skis or a snowboard, and launch it off of a jump. The jump can be viewed from the Base Lodge Deck, and prizes are given out for Creativity, Best Crash, Furthest Distance, Shortest Distance, Still Intact, and Best Overall. A costume contest will also be held for all attendees of the Dummy Downhill.
