For the Dad who’s up for a challenge, take on this one-of-a-kind off-road triathlon based out of Tahoe City. The swim occurs in one of the clearest, cleanest, and deepest lakes in North America, Lake Tahoe. Tahoe City is also home to some of the area’s most treasured mountain biking trails. The bike course features single track and double track, fields of wildflowers, and breath taking sierra views. The races start and finish is at Commons Beach on the shore of Lake Tahoe.

Rock Tahoe Half-Marathon

Father’s Day isn’t just for relaxing! Kickstart Dad’s weekend with a half-marathon at beautiful Lake Tahoe. The Rock Tahoe Half Marathon starts at Spooner Summit and drops over 1,000 ft as it winds its way down Highway 50 along the stunning East Shore of Lake Tahoe to a finish line at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe!

Plus, all race participants will receive a finisher medal and race shirt!

Wine and dine Dad this holiday. The Tahoe City Wine Walk is now The Tahoe City Food & Wine Classic! This year’s event returns to the shore of Lake Tahoe on Saturday, June 16, 2018, to celebrate its 13th anniversary! The Wine Walk runs along scenic North Lake Boulevard in downtown Tahoe City and provides some of the best views of Lake Tahoe, the largest alpine lake in the country. This alfresco event, scheduled from 1 to 5 pm will focus on varietals from area wine producers and will feature gourmet bites from North Lake Tahoe’s top restaurants and catering companies.
